TunisiaMigration: Launch of the journalist’s guide and the facilitator’s guide in Morocco
The European Union in Morocco and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Morocco, in partnership with the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad, responsible for Moroccans Residing Abroad (MDCMRE) and the Higher Institute of Information and Communication (ISIC), organised on 29 January, at Rabat, the launch of two guides entitled “Media coverage of migration based on international law and factual data: Journalist’s guide & Facilitator’s guide ”.
These two guides were developed within the framework of the Regional Program for Development and Protection in North Africa (RDPP) funded by the European Union and implemented by IOM in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya and in Egypt.
RDPP program aims to strengthen the protection and resilience of migrant communities and of their host communities in order to improve social cohesion and protect their rights.
