The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) celebrated, on Monday 15 February 2016, the opening of an EU-funded photo competition, exhibition and awards ceremony in Gaza. UNRWA said in a press release that “each year, the EU-UNRWA photo competition offers Palestine refugees aged 16-29 an opportunity to capture their hopes and dreams in photos and share them with the rest of the world”.
The theme of the photo exhibition in 2015 was – “We Deserve Life”.
