TunisiaSmart Cities for Sustainability and Inclusiveness: Experiences from the Mediterranean – Side Event
The Smart City Congress 2022 in Barcelona will provide the UfM with the opportunity to organise a side event, with the aim to discuss innovative solutions provided by the smart cities to the Mediterranean sustainability challenges.
The event entitled “Smart Cities for Sustainability and Inclusiveness: Experiences from the Mediterranean” will bring together representatives of new Mediterranean cities aiming to become “smart”. They will share the lessons learnt from their journey towards greater sustainability and inclusiveness by harnessing the potential of the digital transformation, and highlight the best practices they have developed, as well as the challenges they have faced in this process.
The event is co-organised by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) and the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) in the margins of the Smart City Expo World Congress 2022, and it will be held in Barcelona on 15 November 2022.
