Do you have a project idea involving different countries and organisations of the Mediterranean area? Have you identified a common problem that can be best addressed through cross-border cooperation? If so, you might be interested in checking the draft guidelines for applicants of the first call for proposals under EU-funded programme Cross Border Cooperation in the Mediterranean Sea Basin (ENI CBCMed).
The guidelines describe the main features of the first call for standard projects, including the following information:
• priorities and budget of the call;
• eligibility criteria;
• application and evaluation procedure.
These guidelines, together with the application pack of the call, will be discussed by the representatives of the participating countries during the meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) to take place on 13 and 14 of December 2016 in Athens. Until they are approved by the JMC, they cannot be considered as final version.
With a budget of EUR 84.6 million, the first call for standard projects will be open to the 11 Programme priorities.
The ENI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme 2014-2020 follows the ENPI (European Neighbourhood Instrument and Partnership) CBC Med 2007-2013. Funded by the European Union and managed by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia (Italy), the Programme will offer cooperation opportunities between partners from the Mediterranean area in fields of intervention such as economic development, education and research, social inclusion and environmental protection.
