Meet Dina, Yassine, Mahdi and Waleed, young people making their dreams come true thanks to EU support. Over the coming weeks, their stories and many others will be told in a new series of videos, produced by the EU Neighbours South project.
Today, a trailer for the series tells how Dina’s designs are making it to the world’s top fashion events, how Yassine is working to sell organic products across Tunisia, how Mahdi, a refugee in Lebanon, dreams of returning to his native Syria, and about Waleed’s ambition to become Jordan’s Minister of Youth.
Over the coming weeks, a series of nine interviews will present the testimonies of young people in the Southern Mediterranean who have benefited from EU projects, investing in young innovative minds to build a brighter future.
The videos will be released on the EU Neighbours South Facebook page, or can be seen on the project’s YouTube channel.
The videos are part of the #EU4YOUTH social media driven campaign (Facebook, Twitter) aimed at raising awareness of EU-funded youth initiatives in the EU Southern Neighbourhood countries: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia. The campaign targets one million young people in the age group 18-35 in the EU Southern Neighbourhood countries.
