The SALTO EuroMed Resource Centre, hosted by the Erasmus+ France Youth and Sport Agency (AEFJS), has been mandated by the European Commission to support and develop, with the National Agencies in Europe and the other SALTO Resource Centres, the participation of young people, youth structures and actors from the southern Mediterranean area in the European Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes. SALTO EuroMed covers 10 countries, eight of which are currently active: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia.
The Erasmus+ programme and the European Solidarity Corps offer significant opportunities for personal development, intercultural learning and skills enhancement for young people in the Southern Mediterranean region. In this context, SALTO EuroMed is committed to strengthening the visibility and accessibility of the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes by setting up, in 2024 in Jordan.
