The European Union published a brochure which reviews the major areas of Euro-Mediterranean cooperation and lists the main bilateral projects as well as the regional projects financed by the EU in the ten countries of the Southern Neighbourhood (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan).At over a billion euros a year, the European Union is the region’s biggest donor.
The partnership between the European Union and the countries of the Southern Neighbourhood is implemented in a number of different fields of socio-economic development grouped by main themes and detailed in a brochure with concrete examples of projects carried out as part of local partnerships and told through the true stories of the beneficiaries.
