The EU delegation to Algeria has published the 2016 edition of the EU and Algeria cooperation report. .
The report, published in French, draws up a list of regional and bilateral programmes and projects, as well as twinning projects, funded by the EU in Algeria. These programmes and projects are grouped in chapters according to the following 11 sectors of cooperation:
– economic transition and trade ;
– agriculture, rural development and fishing industry;
– water and environment ;
– energy,
– employment,
– culture and communication,
– transports,
– local development and basic social services;
– good governance and justice,
– civil society
– humanitarian aid.
In the preface, Mr. John O’Rourke, head of the EU delegation in Algeria says: “The cooperation between the EU and Algeria, illustrated in this report, shows the will of both parties to promote and reinforce their relations, and, in this way, to build together a neighbourhood strong in prosperity, development and sustainable stability.”
