This report provides an overview of the European Endowment for Democracy’s (EED’s) activities supporting and fostering democracy in the European Neighbourhood and beyond in 2020, EED’s seventh year of operation.
The report provides an insight into EED’s approach to democracy support. It tells the stories of EED grantees — the brave activists, independent media outlets, and human rights defenders — who are engaged in the everyday work of defending and sustaining democracy, many of whom work in highly restrictive and difficult environments.
