Challenges for Women Social Entrepreneurship are bigger than the men’s ones, in particular when applying for entrepreneurial competitions. This OXFAM case study aims at exploring these challenges, but also investigates what makes women come together and collaborate.
In addition, this study examine how SESOs are taking the barriers that WSEs face into consideration when designing their programs and to identify the gaps that still need to be taken into consideration. The final purpose of this work is to provide recommendations to be adopted for future initiatives in terms of best outreach/recruitment process and coaching strategies to create an enabling environment for women to become social entrepreneurs in Lebanon.
