The Pilot Action Programme for Rural Development in Algeria (PAP ENPARD) recently published a new guide based on the knowledge acquired during the training courses for Territorial Development Advisors set up as part of the programme.
Mainstreaming the gender approach into projects consists of promoting awareness and introducing strategies and tools for a fair development.
Co-funded by Algeria and the European Union for a total amount of 20 million euros, PAP ENPARD mainly focused on training, support and expertise activities, which benefited to more than 350 organisations or associations and more than 380 rural companies. Added to this, hundreds of people trained and more than sixty experts involved.
