In a time of disinformation, polarisation, and challenges to fundamental rights, it invites readers to reflect on how informed, active citizenship can help build more cohesive and resilient societies.
Each comic in this new edition reimagines real-life impact stories from EU-funded projects across the Southern Neighbourhood, turning them into vivid illustrated narratives that highlight change-makers and everyday heroes.
Launched in 2021 by the EU Neighbours South programme, the European Union’s regional communication initiative for the Southern Neighbourhood, funded by DG MENA, Speak Up Cartoons turns true stories of impact into creative works of illustrated storytelling.
