Training on the Implementation of regulations: from legislative frameworks to tools of policy execution

Kindly hosted by the French regulator CRE, the training will explore the specific challenges and opportunities of implementing energy regulations, focusing on practical tools and strategies for regulatory compliance and enforcement.

The main topics will concern the role of regulators in ensuring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) control in the energy sector and the regulatory enforcement.

The other topics that will be discussed will focus on the specific tools and strategies that regulators can use to promote the development of renewable energy (RE) sources through enforcement procedures and compliance monitoring.

Another important issue that will be addressed will concern stakeholder engagement and information management in regulatory implementation.

One representative per regulator will be welcomed. MPC participants’ expenses will be covered according to the usual reimbursement procedure. Participants from the EU, Turkey and Balkan countries will not be reimbursed from the incurred expenses but will benefit from a high-level training for free.
