MAIA-TAQA concluded the first phase of its training programs on photovoltaics, energy storage and wastewater treatment technologies.
The intensive three months Training of Trainers (ToT) was given by sector experts from Greece, Italy, Lebanon and Egypt. The program hosted 57 participants from the three target countries of Jordan, Egypt and Lebanon. 39 of the participants were SMEs, 18 were young graduates, entrepreneurs and individuals.
The 18 successful candidates of the ToT program will advance to the demo sessions, which are meant to test and improve the training curriculum, as well as test the new trainers before the final training program is launched.
The MAIA-TAQA project gathers 8 partners from 6 countries, namely Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and Spain, and aims at promoting innovative resource efficiency services in the Mediterranean SMEs through the enhancement of their technical and management capacities.
