A high-level mission of the European Commission, led by Managing Director for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Christian Danielsson, visited Algeria on Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 April 2016. “This visit underlines once more that the partnership between Algeria and European Union (EU) remains essential if both parties are to meet the major common challenges of regional instability connected, in particular, to radicalisation and terrorism, energy security, employment as well as the necessary deepening of our economic and commercial relations. This visit made it possible to re-confirm our shared will to deepen our dialogue and cooperation in all these areas “, the EU Delegation in Algeria said in a press release.
