The Support Project for the Structural and Operational Reorganisation of the National School for the Application of Land Transport Techniques – ENATT, funded as part of the EU-Algeria bilateral programme “Support to reform in the transport sector in Algeria (Transport II)”, will be holding its closing conference on 21 March, at the school’s headquarters in Batna.

The aim of this seminar is to show the positive impact of EU-Algeria cooperation in the transport sector as well as the prospects for the professionalisation of transport and logistics training to adapt it to the trades’ needs. It is also an opportunity to take stock of the activities and to look at the project’s prospects.

The Support Project for the Structural and Operational Reorganisation of the ENATT school, funded by the EU with EUR 870000, enabled the achievement of two key results after 16 months of activity:

• a new sectoral vocation is attributed to the ENATT and a functional organisation in line with its positioning as a school oriented towards the transport and logistics professions;

• the strengthening of the human resource to better meet the requirements of new curricula at all levels of the “LMD cycle” and continuing education.

The project is part of the TRANSPORT II Programme, whose overall objective is to support the implementation of the new transport strategy through institutional and regulatory reforms and to improve transport safety and transport quality.
