The European Union Delegation in Algiers is launching a poster competition to mark the organisation of the 17th European Festival in Algeria. The posters’ topic will focus on cultural diversity and intercultural exchanges and dialogue. The deadline for submitting entries in the competition is February 9 at midnight.

According to the festival organisers, the event is becoming more and more multicultural, with spaces dedicated to music of all genres, from classical to contemporary. The event also has much to offer in other areas, from dance to the visual arts, in particular photography, theatre, and cinema.

The festival will take place in the Algerian capital, Algiers, as well as in other big cities around the country: Annaba, Béjaïa, Constantine, Tlemcen and, for the first time, Tiaret.
