A Twinning project between the Inspectorate-General of Finances in Algeria (IGF) and the Spanish Institute for Fiscal Studies provided under the EU-funded programme to support the implementation of the Association Agreement between Algeria and the European Union (P3A), was officially launched earlier this month at the National School of Administration (ENA) in Algiers.

Launched for a period of 24 months and funded by the EU with a budget of EUR 1,400,000, this twinning will mobilise 40 Spanish experts for 69 missions, 150 people will be trained, 5 study visits to Spain, 6 seminars and 6 workshops will be organised.

At the end of this project, the IGF should be able to focus its interventions on the main risks previously identified and increase the level of expertise of its operational staff in terms of control, audit and evaluation of major projects and policies.
