Are Arab countries delivering on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)? What is the role of skills development and government support in this process? The Middle East and North Africa Public Administration Research (MENAPAR) network is organising a conference in Ifrane, Morocco, from 28-31 of October, to discuss this and other aspects. More specifically, the event will focus on “Public Administration Research and South-South Cooperation for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals in the Arab Region”.

The European Training Foundation (ETF) will play a key role in the conference, both through the presentation of its flagship project ‘Torino Process’, a tool to monitor progress in human capital development, and the announcement of the results of the first survey on the role of civil society role in skills development in the region.

Applications are still open both to submit papers and to attend the event.
