The EU-funded ClimaSouth programme has launched an upgraded version of its website in three languages: French, English and Arabic.
The website will act as a gateway to relevant information on EU and international Climate Change policy and features information and data on the project’s activities in the 9 partner countries it covers through dedicated pages on news, events, and a help desk facility.
The portal also offers an interactive knowledge base on climate change in the region, including a database of key resources and other tools, made accessible to the general public or restricted to specific user categories.
A ClimaSouth account has also been activated on Twitter, featuring real-time updates about the project and key information about climate change.
The Clima South project seeks to enhance regional cooperation between the EU and its southern Mediterranean neighbours and among the partner countries themselves (South–South) on climate change mitigation and adaptation, mainly through capacity development and information sharing. The overarching goal is to support the transition of ENP South countries towards low carbon development and climate resilience. (EU Neighbourhood Info)
