On 27 April, a donation agreement of 1.5 billion dirhams from the EU to support the education and training sectors in Morocco was signed by Claudia WIEDEY, EU Ambassador to Morocco, Mr. Mohamed BENCHAABOUN, Minister of Economy, Finance and Public Administration Reform, Mr. Saaïd AMZAZI, Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research and Mr. Mahmoud ABDESSAMIH, Director of the National Agency for the Fight against Illiteracy.

This donation supports Morocco’s efforts to manage the COVID-19 crisis, particularly in terms of access to distance education for school-aged populations.
