The primary objective of the cross–sector dialogue was to facilitate comprehensive discussions and exchange of ideas among stakeholders from various sectors on the national and local levels. By bringing together key actors from Government institutions, Governorates’ councils and municipalities, civil society, and academia, the dialogue aimed to foster collaboration and accelerate the implementation of the Engendered Strategy for the EMV to create a roadmap for sustainable progress and meaningful change.
The panelists engaged in a captivating discussion, acknowledging the crucial role of public, private, and civil society sectors in implementing the Engendered Strategy for the EMV. They emphasized the need for coordinated efforts among these entities to enhance women’s participation across Jordanian Governorates, sectors, and public spheres. With a focus on fostering a supportive work environment for women, these recommendations aim to contribute to the realization of Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision.
