CROSSDEV Project partner’s the Royal Marine Conservation Society of Jordan (JREDS) in Aqaba, Jordan is seeking a national registered company (training center, college, specialized institution, or similar) to design and provide a series of trainings to local tourist guides, enterprises, tourism services providers, youth/ students, and public officers in tourism sector.
The aim of the trainings is to widen, enhance and diversify the current tourism offer, broadening customer base and facilitating access of MSMEs to new markets. The trainings will aim on the one side to improve specific skills (English language, communication, best practices for archaeological tours, photography for tourism, marketing and social media, and sustainable tourism and hospitality).
It also aims to raise awareness about sustainable tourism and the valorisation practices of cultural/historical heritage among the general public. The trainings will also involve local youth interested to work in the tourism sector.
