The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has announced that its Annual Meeting is to be held at its HQ in London on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 May 2016.

At the meeting, the bank will “look forward to the challenges and obstacles facing policy-makers, politicians and civil society organisations across the SEMED (South and East Mediterranean)”. One question that will be discussed is: “What are the prospects for peaceful, lasting change?”

Over the same period, a Business Forum will take place in the same venue, to which the EBRD is delighted to welcome the four members of the Tunisian National Dialogue Quartet, winners of the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize. “We look back at the successes and shortcomings of political and social developments over the past five years in Tunisia and elsewhere”, the bank said in a statement.
