The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is organizing, in partnership with the European Union in Morocco under the Team Europe banner, the sixth workshop of the “Back To Business” initiative on the theme “The consulting industry in Morocco: challenges and opportunities post covid-19”. The event will take place online on 6 April at 4 p.m. and will bring together national and international experts, representatives of international institutions, companies and independent consultants.

The workshop aims to analyse the state of the consulting industry in Morocco and internationally, to identify the obstacles to the development of this industry, to examine the ways to improve the competitiveness of consulting firms and, finally, to make concrete recommendations to advance the consulting industry in Morocco. Insights will also be provided by testimonials from consultants and SMEs who have succeeded in improving competitiveness through the intervention of a consultant.

The “Back To Business” initiative aims to provide Moroccan companies impacted by the crisis with concrete, operational and directly applicable solutions on the ground. This initiative is built in the form of 9 workshops to shed light on issues that concern several industries (value chains, exports, the circular economy, inclusive entrepreneurship, consulting, etc.), and on more specific and important sectoral issues for the Moroccan economy (agro-industry, logistics, plastics, tourism, etc.). It will conclude with the publication of a White Paper of recommendations.
