On Sunday 10 April 2016, the European Union and its partners launched “Taghyeer: Towards a Practical Change in the Rights of Youth and Women with Disabilities in Egypt” – a project that seeks to enhance the inclusiveness of persons with disabilities (PwDs) in Egypt. The EU has allocated a grant of EUR 279 000 for this project. The project is being implemented by the organisation Handicap International.
