April 28, 2021
Share on

A market survey is being conducted among Egyptian textiles, clothing, footwear and leather companies on the strengths and weaknesses of the Egyptian traditional sectors, in the framework of EU-funded CRE@CTIVE project. The deadline to submit the answers is 30 April 2021.

The survey will help map the needs and resources of the textile, clothing, footwear and leather sectors in Egypt.

The results will allow the project’s partners to tailor their activities according to the sectors’ needs. It will also help them define the strengths and weaknesses of the local traditional sectors and set the strategic and operational framework for the upcoming activities.

CRE@CTIVE’s objective is to foster value chains and business alliances among MSMEs in Mediterranean textile, footwear and leather sectors in order to encourage the creation of new products and business growth, by building bridges between these sectors and the creative industry (crafts, design, culture, etc.). As a result, creative innovation will upgrade the products and will improve their positioning, making them more competitive in the global markets.
