The Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations (CEEBA) in collaboration with the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce hosted an exhibition at this year’s Techne Summit Alexandria, in its 7th edition, from 2 to 4 October at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

The exhibition featured 9 EU-funded, ENI CBC MED, cross-border projects, from at least 5 different industries, which are currently being implemented in Egypt.

Techne Summit, the largest investment and entrepreneurship conference in the Mediterranean, in its hybrid edition, offered exceptional opportunities for individuals and businesses from 9 different industries where they got the chance to expand their networks with more than 15.000 attendees, engage and gain experience from more than 200 speakers from around the world.

ENI CBC Med is the largest Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC) initiative implemented by the EU under the European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI). The Programme brings together the coastal territories of 14 EU and partner countries in view of fostering fair, equitable and sustainable development on both sides of the EU’s external borders.

Through calls for proposals, ENI CBC Med finances cooperation projects for a more competitive, innovative, inclusive and sustainable Mediterranean area. Under the 2014-2020 period, the European Union has invested more than €1 billion to support 16 ENI CBC programmes between EU Member States and neighbouring countries sharing a land border, a sea crossing or a sea basin, from the Arctic to the Southern Mediterranean.
