The Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association (EMEA), partner of the Interreg MED Renewable Energy project, will organise and host a hybrid conference to showcase and disseminate the ETU Initiative. The event will take place on 16 and 17 March 2022.

The aim of the conference is to present the ETU Initiative as an evolving platform enabling knowledge transfer and transnational cooperation between European projects and initiatives committed to climate adaptation and welfare, with an open call to join us. T

o this end, the conference is structured on two levels: on day 1 we will establish a dialogue between the ETU pillars and other EU initiatives and projects involved in the energy transition. On day 2, the conference will focus on the dialogue between the ETU Initiative and regional initiatives in the Mediterranean and Africa.

The Ecosystemic Transition Unit (ETU) Initiative has been created and promoted by Interreg MED Renewable Energy as a platform to foster the ecosystem approach to energy transition, capitalising on knowledge transfer and transnational cooperation across the Mediterranean region.
