The EU Co-ordinating Office for Palestinian Police Support helps to shorten the time frames for the provision of justice in Palestine

Efficient service delivery by the justice institutions is an essential priority for the Palestinian Authority. Consequently, a portion of the Mission’s engagement with the Palestinian justice institutions includes efforts to reduce the backlog of court cases and shortening the time frame for the provision of justice.

To further this process, the EU Co-ordinating Office for Palestinian Police Support (EUPOL COPPS), through its project “Support to the High Judicial Council on the functions of the courts and public outreach”, has completed a 4-day long study visit – from 11 to 14 December 2018 – for four members of the Technical Office of the Palestinian High Judicial Council.
