Last week, EU Commissioner for Health and Food Safety Vytenis Andriukaitis arrived for an official visit in Israel. He visited Yad Vashem: World Holocaust Center, Jerusalem, and had meetings with Deputy Minister for Health, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to discuss EU-Israel cooperation and common issues. He spoke with public health students in Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and visited a number of medical and research centres engaged in e-health.
