The European Film Days is back with screenings at the French Institute of Algiers from 3 February. The programme includes four films to discover or reconnect with the European cinema.
The event kicks off on Wednesday at 4.30. p.m. with the documentary “Citoyen Nobel” which retraces the career of Jacques Dubochet, Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2017, who questions his sudden fame and his desire to carry out civic struggles.
On Saturday 6 February at 4.30. p.m. a tribute will be paid to the filmmaker Agnès Varda with the screening of her film “Visages Villages” where she travels, together with the photographer JR, the villages of France to meet their inhabitants.
