The staff of the EU-funded project “The Coalition for Social Justice in Urban Renewal” of “Bimkom” organization spoke at a hearing about the need to improve the impact of public participation in urban renewal planning during the Knesset’s Urbanism Day.

The overall objective of the project is to establish a ‘Coalition for Social Justice in Urban Renewal’ including professional, academic and grassroots organisations in order to advance socio-economic considerations in urban renewal and to ensure adequate, suitable and affordable housing for Israel’s vulnerable citizens.
