Within the framework of the EU-funded EBSOMED project, BUSINESSMED is implementing a series of training webinars with the aim of providing an introduction to the Business Country Desk (BCD) platform and its mode of operation. On 10 March, a webinar, dedicated to the economic operators of the region, will focus on the relevance and modalities of creating a BCD account.

The BCD is one of the key instruments implemented in the framework of the EBSOMED project. The Platform will provide access to reliable data shaping the business climate (Trade / Investment) of Southern Mediterranean countries; promote, foster and support synergies, and networking and B2B opportunities; and connect economic operators in the Euro-Mediterranean region, and initiate and develop North-South and/or South-South business partnerships.

Co-financed by the European Commission, EBSOMED is a 4-year project which was officially launched in June 2018 in Tunis. The project aims at boosting the Mediterranean business ecosystem and promoting inclusive economic growth and job creation, by enhancing the private sector environment and namely the Business Support Organisations in the Southern Neighbourhood countries.
