EU-funded FASTER provides specialized training on climate change effects on water and land management in the Mediterranean

EU-funded FASTER has launched its 2nd Specialized Training from 22-26 March to increase and update the educational and research capacity of INRGREF (Institut National de Recherche en Génie Rurale, Eaux et Forêts) and associated partners. Specifically, this will focus on enhancing research skills and tools and improving research excellence, innovation potential and the overall scientific quality of the institutions.

The training sessions’ topics will revolve around the effects of climate change on water and land management in the Mediterranean.

FASTER (Farmers’ Adaptation and Sustainability in Tunisia through Excellence in Research) aims to reinforce research and knowledge transfer capacity of INRGREF (National Research Institute of Rural Engineering, Water and Forests) related to innovative land and water management in view of climate change and its implementation through the use of Farm Advisory Systems (FAS). This project has received funding from the EU’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
