Congratulations to EU Jeel Connectors in Morocco for their wonderful initiatives!

On 16 August, Khadija El Bourkhissi, EU Jeel Connector in Morocco, hosted her initiative “How to be the coolest?” at Lycée Al Amal. Her event aimed to explore the connection between personal and professional development through the concept of “coolness.” The focus was on essential interpersonal skills such as self-confidence, stress management, and conflict resolution, while also reflecting on individual aspirations and the steps needed to achieve them. Youth were encouraged to embrace diversity, pursue continuous growth, and take on leadership roles within their communities, ultimately empowering them to shape a brighter future.

On 20 July, Ikram Ben Talha, Lahcen El Mejdoubi and Houda El Arroud, EU Jeel Connectors in Morocco, organised “Climate Jeel”, a 1-day programme empowering youth to present creative climate projects in their community. Participants learned to conceive impactful initiatives, heard from EU Jeel Connectors addressing climate change in northern Morocco, and enhanced their story-pitching skills. The programme included eco-friendly activities, such as a bike ride around Tangier, demonstrating how youth can enjoy the city while supporting a healthy environment.
