The EU is supporting circular economy in Jordan. The “Catalyzing a Transformative Model for Circularity through 9R’s in Aqaba” project has been launched. The new project worth is 2.8 million EUR and implemented by UNDP Jordan
This 2-year initiative, funded by European Union in Jordan and implemented in collaboration with the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), aims to establish a circular economy hub, minimize waste, and foster environmental innovation in Aqaba.
