The EU is Strengthening access to protection participation and services for women refugees, internationally displaced people (IDPS) and women in the host communities in Lebanon Women and girls should have equal opportunities as men. It is not only the right thing to do, it is the smart thing to do.
This has been discussed in Beirut as the EU delegation hosted in partnership with EEWAY Lebanon (Ministry of State for Economic Empowerment of Women and Youth), Euromed Feminist an EU funded regional conference on gender quality with representatives from Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon.
