EUBAM’s Deputy Head of Mission, Anders Garly Andersen, spoke of the Mission’s commitment to supporting the Libyan government in its border management “The international community, the EU and EUBAM Libya in particular stand ready to support the Libyan authorities on border management and in jointly seeking to translate our common vision of peace and stability in Libya into concrete action, and these meeting are very useful to that end”.

It is tasked with contributing to the Libyan authorities’ efforts to disrupt organised criminal networks involved in smuggling of migrants, human trafficking and terrorism.
