The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s third Regional Business Forum for the southern and eastern Mediterranean region, ‘Investing for growth and jobs’ will be held in Tunis, Tunisia, on 17 September, in cooperation with the Tunisian authorities.

This one-day event will bring together government representatives, policy-makers, entrepreneurs and investors to network. It is also an opportunity to explore investment challenges and business opportunities in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, and the West Bank and Gaza.

The Forum will highlight how the EBRD is stepping up its engagement with investors, governments and small businesses to help drive growth, boost employment and improve the lives and environments of millions of people. Panel discussions will focus on agribusiness, sustainable energy, green cities, tech start-ups and entrepreneurship and will feature a partnership with the EU Global Tech Panel initiative.

The EBRD is a multilateral bank that promotes the development of the private sector and entrepreneurial initiative in 38 economies across three continents. It combines investments with policy dialogue and, through activities like its Community Initiative, also reaches out to support local societies and knowledge about EBRD countries.
