In order to increase the judicial capacities of the Palestinian judiciary, a four-day ‘train-the-trainer’ course was organised for the Palestinian Judicial Institute.

The project is a continuation of the Mission’s support for the Institute through capacity building activities and is in line with the EUPOL COPPS’ Mission Implementation Plan.

The objective of the course was to develop the theoretical and practical training skills of 15 prosecutors to become capable trainers.

Upon completion of the course, the participants will be able to plan and deliver capable trainings, identify training needs, establish objectives, select the appropriate training methods, plan courses, prepare training materials, deliver varied training sessions and conduct evaluation on a scientific basis.

EUPOL COPPS is the European Union Co-ordinating Office for Palestinian Police Support. The aim of the Mission is to contribute to the establishment of sustainable and effective policing arrangements and to advise Palestinian counterparts on criminal justice and rule of law related aspects under Palestinian ownership.
