October 31, 2016
The EU-funded Euro-Mediterranean Forum of Economic Institutes (FEMISE) is co-organising the 2016 edition of the IDE-GDRI network biennial conference taking place this year on3-4 November 2016 in Clermont-Ferrand, France.
This year’s edition will focus on all aspects of development economics, both macro and micro and will include a Roundtable on Economies of the Mediterranean. During the conference, research papers on innovative topics such as the economics of vulnerability and sustainable growth will be presented.
FEMISE is an EU-funded project, which aims to contribute to the reinforcement of dialogue on economic and financial issues in the Euro-Mediterranean partnership, within the framework of the European Neighbourhood Policy and the Union for the Mediterranean. More specifically, it seeks to improve understanding of the priority stakes in the economic and social spheres, and their repercussions on the Mediterranean partners in the framework of their implementation of EU Association Agreements and Action Plans.
