International Development Economics: FEMISE to co-organise conference with a focus on the Mediterranean region

The EU-funded Euro-Mediterranean Forum of Economic Institutes (FEMISE) is co-organising the 2016 edition of the IDE-GDRI network biennial conference taking place this year on 3-4 November 2016 in Clermont-Ferrand, France.
 
This year’s edition will focus on all aspects of development economics, both macro and micro and will include a Roundtable on Economies of the Mediterranean. During the conference, research papers on innovative topics such as the economics of vulnerability and sustainable growth will be presented.
 
FEMISE is an EU-funded project, which aims to contribute to the reinforcement of dialogue on economic and financial issues in the Euro-Mediterranean partnership, within the framework of the European Neighbourhood Policy and the Union for the Mediterranean.
