To mark the International Youth Day on 12 August, the EU-supported OPEN Media Hub shared its “Being 20” series. The series includes stories produced by media professionals in the European Neighbourhood with support from the OPEN Media Hub.

This media content, produced in the form of video stories, depicts the lives of people in their 20s. They aim to address questions, such as what it means to be 20, what defines that generation the most, and how they tackle the challenges in their professional and personal lives.

The OPEN Media Hub project, funded under the OPEN Neighbourhood programme, aims at creating a virtual media hub spanning the EU’s two neighbourhood regions – south and east – in order to contribute to the development of independent media and to a more accurate presentation of EU policies, through the creation of a network of journalists.

It provides skills to journalists and media managers through the fostering of professional networks, the provision of hands-on workshops and journalist exchanges, and support to audio-visual and online production.
