Ambassador Andrea Matteo Fontana, Head of the EU Delegation to Jordan, and His Excellency Mr. Sameer Murad, Minister of Labour, attended the graduation ceremony for the first cohort of women beneficiaries of the ‘Economic Empowerment Program for Women in Jordan’. The ceremony was held today, 24 January, at the Haya Cultural Center.
Funded by the EU Regional Trust Fund in response to the Syrian Crisis (the ‘MADAD Fund’), as well as the Governments of Japan and France, the program will benefit 1,000 women in Jordan.
