TunisiaLebanese Green startups meet investors thanks to the EU’s SwitchMed programme
On 5 June 2018, eight green start-ups will pitch their business idea in front of investors with the chance to access to funds and drive their venture success.
During the event, the 8 new green entrepreneurs will showcase their companies in front of potential investors. They will have the chance to get relevant feedback in order to find the right financial players. Together they will also discuss about their own cases, main barriers and chances to access to green finance in Lebanon.
The event is a collaborative initiative among the EU’s SwitchMed programme and the Delegation of European Union in Lebanon to celebrate the world environment day.
The SwitchMed programme aims to promote a switch by the Mediterranean economies towards sustainable consumption and production patterns and green economy, including low-emission development, through demonstration and dissemination of methods that improve resource and energy efficiency.
