The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) is co-organizing the second edition of Creative Forum Ljubljana together with the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH commissioned by BMZ. This Forum is the only platform that links the Southern Mediterranean and the Western Balkans through creativity. It provides capacity building, networking opportunities, room for debate and policy review. It is an advocate for and a catalyst of policy change that would create an enabling environment for the cultural and creative sector at the regional level.

While its first edition in April 2018 reviewed the regional state of affairs in the cultural and creative sector, this year’s Forum will set the ground for collective action. Under the title “Creative Capital United”, it is an invitation to unite our forces – regionally and sectorially from education to the economy and policy making.
