The Mediterranean City-to-City Migration (MC2CM) has issued a call to award actions that contribute to foster rights-based urban migration governance systems and advance social cohesion in the Mediterranean region. This call for Targeted City Actions is now open for municipalities/regional government bodies to submit their proposal for actions.

Actions submitted should be implemented in at least one of the target countries of MC2CM (Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Lebanon, Libya and Tunisia). The maximum amount of funding available per Action is €50,000.

The Mediterranean City-to-City Migration (MC2CM) project brings together experts and cities to contribute to improved migration governance at city level, including migrants’ access to basic services and human rights through its three components: Dialogue, Knowledge and Action. The project is funded by the European Union and implemented by ICMPD, United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) and UN-Habitat. It will run until 31 March 2021.
