For the second year in a row, the six projects of the CBC Med solar cluster – namely FOSTEr in MED, SHAAMS, MED SOLAR, DIDSOLIT-PB, STS-MED and MED DESIRE – are organising the Mediterranean Solar Forum on 26 November in Barcelona.
The event will bring together governments, international organisations, project promoters and private investors, in order to reflect upon and discuss the challenges and opportunities that solar energy represents for the Mediterranean, taking into consideration its strategic importance as an abundant and sustainable energy source for the region.
The six CBC Med projects will unveil a series of technological, regulatory and financial tools designed to improve energy efficiency in the Mediterranean area, contributing to the development of the solar sector.
The Mediterranean Solar Forum is taking place in the framework of the Mediterranean Week of Economic Leaders, one of the main economic events in the region.
