MedTOWN’s International Seminar on Social Innovation & Inclusion to be held on 26 January

The upcoming MedTOWN project International Seminar on Social Innovation and Inclusion will be held via zoom, hosted by the Greek project partners from EPEKSA in Thessaloniki, on 26 January 2022 from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm Greek time (9.00 to11.30 CET). 

The Seminar aims to maximize synergies between SSE-focused innovative projects and open the scope to include those who tackle social innovation and inclusion from different points of view. Therefore, focusing on the knowledge acquired by social innovation projects with the capacity to transform the way in which the public administration and SSE entities relate to each other.

The main objective is to establish common reference parameters to evaluate the challenges and the limits of social experimentation & to offer a space of critical reflections and debates; while at the same time focusing on the legal framework, to learn from the exchange of the challenges & barriers and ways to overcome them, experienced by different initiatives.

MedTOWN is a cooperation project financed by the European Union through the European Neighbourhood Instrument for Cross-Border Cooperation, in the framework of the Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme 2014-2020 (ENI CBC Med). The aim is to support the role and capacities of SSE actors in the fight against poverty, inequality, social exclusion and environmental unsustainability.
