The BSO Management Academy “Servicing Members Efficiently” will be held in September 2019 in Casablanca, Morocco, in the framework of EU-funded EBSOMED project.

Business Support Organizations (BSOs) have an important role to play as service provider for their members. Whether it is advisory, training, information or research, they deliver services to help their members succeed in their daily management and growth strategies.

It is expected that, at the end of the two-day Academy, participants will have strengthened their skills to perform effectively in their BSO and in particular that they will:

  • Better understand the objectives of services offer development and the challenges that it constitutes;
  • Have learned how to assess their services offer portfolio identifying weaknesses, strengths and areas of improvements;
  • Know how to design a strategy to identify new market niches and expand the services offer or improve the existing service offer;
  • Have benchmarked their own practices with those of others on structural issues (e.g. needs assessment) or specific ones, related to the practices presented in the clinic.

Co-financed by the European Commission, EBSOMED is a 4-year project which was officially launched in June 2018 in Tunis. The project aims at boosting the Mediterranean business ecosystem and promoting inclusive economic growth and job creation, by enhancing the private sector environment and namely the Business Support Organisations in the Southern Neighbourhood countries.
